Genesis 1000™

The Genesis 1000™ is a breakthrough in distributed power generation. Compact, efficient, affordable, and environmentally friendly, this one megawatt generator set is one-third the size and one-fifth the weight of comparable competitive units. Its unique characteristics are a result of the innovative engineering of the ARC930TA, nine-cylinder, radial engine—a proprietary design of Clear Energy Systems.

Inspired by one of the most reliable engine platforms ever developed, the ARC930TA has been re-engineered and industrialized for the 21st century. This completely new powerplant is the result of state-of-the-art engineering methods, computer aided analysis, and precision machining and assembly techniques. It utilizes advanced combustion technology and incorporates modern alloys, coatings, and tolerances to deliver exceptional durability, extended maintenance intervals and long service life required for heavy duty, mission critical applications. Yet, the 930TA retains all of the advantages inherent in its original radial design—high horsepower to weight ratio, low internal friction and high operating efficiency. Air cooled and turbocharged, with fewer parts and bearings, the 930’s unique combination of features enables the Genesis 1000™ to deliver dependable, mobile, fuel efficient and clean energy to distributed power markets worldwide.

The Genesis 1000™ power generation system combines state-of-the-art components developed by Clear Energy Systems and world-class suppliers:

  • ARC930TA Engine:  State-of-the-art, industrialized proprietary design, based on the proven air-cooled radial reciprocating piston engine. Advantages include high horsepower-to-weight ratio, compact size, sustained high-power output, excellent efficiency, utility-grade operational reliability, extended time between overhauls and high in-service durability.

  • Marelli MJB 400 MB4 Three Phase Synchronous Generator: A proven one-megawatt generator manufactured by a leading global supplier.

  • CES Proprietary Design Transfer Case:  Coupling the engine and generator, our transfer case delivers rotational power to the generator shaft at the optimal speed for 50Hz or 60Hz power frequencies without having to adjust engine RPM.

  • CES Proprietary Design Cooling and Hydraulic Systems:  Proprietary design to provide cooling as well as lubrication and internal cooling of the engine.

  • CES Proprietary Electronic Engine and Generator Control System:  Microprocessor-based diagnostic, monitoring and control system integrates engine and alternator controls in a single system employing CAN bus technology.

  • Trailer and System Enclosure:  Mounts and protects system components for permanent installation or transport. Fully encloses the system for superior noise reduction and protection from the environment.
